Release The Reports!!!

The Republican American had a terrific article based on my testimony to the Insurance and Real Estate Committee on Tuesday 3/19/13.

Paul Hughes of the Rep-Am reported:
As more disturbing details about the deadly school shooting in Newtown continued to emerge, gun owner Judy Aron challenged state lawmakers Tuesday to demand state police disclose more about their investigation into the December massacre.

The West Hartford woman questioned how legislators could propose new gun laws in response to the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School without more facts, including requiring gun owners to obtain liability insurance.

You as legislators should have that information in hand. A preliminary report should be made available, and I am hearing bits and pieces of this case are beginning to leak out,” she said.

Aron referred to a column that appeared Sunday in the New York Daily News that provided fresh, morbid details of gunman Adam Lanza’s research into other mass shootings.

State police and Danbury State’s Attorney Stephen J. Sedensky III continued Tuesday to decline to release information about the investigation, and would not confirm the information in the column.

Columnist Mike Lupica quoted an anonymous law enforcement source who attended a conference last week where the commander of the Connecticut State Police made a presentation on the Sandy Hook investigation.

According to the column, Col. Danny R. Stebbins revealed that Lanza had compiled a spreadsheet that measured 7 feet long and 4 feet wide charting mass murders of the past. The document required a special printer to produce. The list also included attempted murders.

During a public hearing Tuesday on legislation that would require gun owners obtain liability insurance, Aron questioned why police are not giving the legislature the same information.

Clearly there is information being made available and you as legislators should be screaming at the top of your lungs as to why you don’t have access to that information,” she said.

The Lupica column said the list that Lanza compiled names of around 500 people and included the number of victims killed in each incident and the make and model of the weapons that were used.

The law enforcement source told Lupica that Stebbins said investigators believe Lanza picked up from video games techniques for reloading the .223 Bushmaster AR-15 that he used and for moving from room to room.

Stebbins made the revelations during a seminar for the mid-year meeting of the International Association of Police Chiefs and Colonels in New Orleans last week.

State police will not be releasing any information on the Sandy Hook massacre until the investigation is concluded, said Lt. J. Paul Vance, a department spokesman. He said the probe is still expected to take several months to complete.

State police will continue to provide regular updates on the investigation’s progress to families of the Sandy Hook victims, Vance said.

Lanza shot down 20 firstgraders and six staff members at Sandy Hook before he killed himself after law enforcement responded to the shooting. Before going to the school he murdered his mother at the home they shared .

Once state police conclude their investigation, Sedensky will then review the findings and issue a final report. It is unclear how long that might take.

Sedensky will determine if any criminal charges need to be filed based on the state police investigation. If there are any prosecutions, the final report could be held back until all the criminal cases are closed.

Vance said the leaking of the sensitive information that Stebbins shared with other law enforcement professionals last week was unfortunate.

“It is unfortunate that someone in attendance chose not to honor Col. Stebbins’ request to respect the families’ right to know specifics of the investigation first,” he said.

Despite this, state police will continue to share lessons learned from the mass shooting in such exclusive settings, including issues surrounding officer safety and public safety, Vance said.

He said this is a customary practice in law enforcement after crimes involving mass murder are committed

My testimony has created a ripple... and I am glad people are finally saying something!
Many are demanding that details be released NOW while legislation is being considered.

It is reprehensible that Second Amendment Rights are being trampled by proposed legislation, while the toxicology and police investigation reports are being withheld from the public and members of the General Assembly.

The people in control of the information of this investigation are hiding behind HIPAA laws - with regard to toxicology and mental health details of Adam Lanza and they are withholding vital information under the guise of being "sensitive to Newtown families".
Meanwhile the Rights of every citizen is at stake!
The Governor, and his anti-gun cophorts, would love to see these Draconian anti-gun laws be shoved down our throats knowing full well that the details of these investigations will prove that what he is pushing for in his anti-gun agenda would have had no effect whatsoever on how the crime of Dec 14th unfolded.  It was in fact a carefully laid out pre-meditated plan devised by a very troubled individual.

They have been getting signatures and petitioning!

Project Longevity - Launched In CT Prior To Sandy Hook

Make no mistake - Project Longevity has come to CT.. full bore... and just 17 days prior to the Sandy Hook shooting.

Remember Attorney General Eric Holder's comments:
"What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that's not cool, that it's not acceptable, it's not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we changed our attitudes about cigarettes." ... he said we really need to "brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way."
Well, the brainwashing mechanisms have been put into place in CT since November 2012 through "Project Longevity" and it is very interesting to me that this was NOT started in the hideously crime ridden cities of Chicago (IL), Detroit(MI), or Oakland (CA)!  Why CT?
Attorney General Eric Holder, U.S. Attorney David Fein and Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy joined members of law enforcement, public officials, social service providers, community leaders and researchers in New Haven today to launch “Project Longevity,” a comprehensive initiative to reduce gun violence in Connecticut’s major cities. Project Longevity uses a strategy that has shown violence can be reduced dramatically when community members and law enforcement join together to directly engage with these groups and clearly communicate a community message against violence, a law enforcement message about the consequences of further violence and an offer of help for those who want it. To accomplish this, law enforcement, social service providers and community members are recruited, assembled and trained to engage in a sustained relationship with violent groups.

“Project Longevity will send a powerful message to those who would commit violent crimes targeting their fellow citizens that such acts will not be tolerated and that help is available for all those who wish to break the cycle of violence and gang activity,” said Attorney General Holder. “Today’s announcement underscores our commitment to working together – across levels of government and jurisdictional boundaries – to protect the American people from the crime that threatens too many neighborhoods and claims far too many innocent lives.

Project Longevity is based on a model that has been successful in reducing gun violence in multiple neighborhoods across the country and represents the first time the strategy is being implemented statewide.
Again I wonder, why CT? Why not launch in a state which is brimming with rampant crime, like Illinois or California? Perhaps they didn't want the spotlight to be placed on the those places which have restrictive gun control laws - which obvious have been failures. And not even a month later from this announcement, we have this horrific shooting in the sleepy little suburban community of Sandy Hook, perpetrated by another troubled young adult as in mass shootings before. The Newtown shooting has since become the locus of the national gun control debate wherein proponents of citizen disarmament have obscenely exploited the deaths of children to further their anti-gun policies promoted via fear and ignorance and steeped in the desire for population control. The propaganda against guns has raged - and suspiciously absent are any toxicology reports or police reports from the shooting. It is claimed that the shooting was quite complex and that "the Feds" are also involved in preparing the reports.  Meanwhile... anti-gun propaganda is being spread via the media and established gun control groups who have enlisted the aid of religious entities (surprise!) and community leaders (seeking votes) just like what was enlisted in Project Longevity.
“On the state level, I have directed my administration to focus our criminal justice resources on urban violence,” Governor Malloy said. “We agree that no strategy will be effective without the support of the community. This means parents, clergy, neighborhood leaders, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles – everyone working toward one goal. We are working to regain the trust of the African American and Latino communities. We need their help. The lives of these young people are too valuable not to act.”

Funded by federal, state and local sources, Project Longevity is being launched initially in three Connecticut cities – New Haven, Hartford and Bridgeport.

After more than a year of hard work and preparation by so many public and private partners, I am pleased to announce Project Longevity, our statewide anti-violence initiative,” said U.S. Attorney Fein. “Many dedicated people and organizations have come together to support this proven strategy to reduce gang and gun violence through focused deterrence.”

A critical component of the Project Longevity strategy is the “call-in,” a face-to-face meeting where partners engage group members and deliver certain key messages. First, that group members are part of a community, that gun violence is unacceptable and that the community needs it to end.
Conspiracy theories abound regarding the Sandy Hook shooting, and I am not advancing any of them, however I find it interesting that a mechanism of "community engagement" regarding violence with an agenda of  "delivering key messages" was formally put in place only one month before the Newtown shooting by a federal agency already suspect for running guns to Mexican Drug Cartels through the Fast and Furious scandal (meant to further the gun control debate in the US).  Coincidence?

Key information, in the form of reports surrounding the shooting incident in Sandy Hook, are also suspiciously not yet available. The truths about the shooting are NOT being made available or  disseminated (not even in preliminary form!)... but mis-information and outright lies about firearms and firearms ownership is being purposely fed to the masses via "community engagement" of various new, as well as older, organizations. Anti-gun organizations like CAGV and the Brady Campaign, are viciously peddling the Socialist gun control propaganda message that is being driven into the heads of a population (with the help of local and national media) who are desperate for someone to blame and someone to punish, coupled with a foolish notion that restricting the ability for individual self defense is somehow going to magically prevent another Sandy Hook from happening ever again. Well meaning individuals, and emotions, are being manipulated and exploited by these anti-gun organizations.

Just remember that pro second amendment groups are also anti-violence - they grieve just as equally for those dead children and teachers in Newtown, CT... but the message being crafted by the anti-gun crowd is that gun owners are evil and must be disarmed, even if they are the good guys who help to curb and in many cases prevent gun crimes, and even if the restrictive laws in CT have proven to be ineffective and did not prevent Adam Lanza from murdering innocent people.

670 Colt Employees Rally At The CT Legislature!

Chanting "Save Our Jobs" - they came to leave a very loud and clear message to the Governor and the General Assembly!
If the Legislature passes laws banning certain firearms - these jobs and many others will be lost!

and inside the LOB

I was glad to hear outstanding and reasoned testimony at the Committee on Public Safety and Security by owners/representatives of Mossberg, Stag Arms, Colt and Sturm Ruger.

Well done!
Let's hope these draconian anti-gun laws that were before the committee today, as well as others waiting in the wings, are defeated and this legislature comes to its senses.
and let's hope the Governor got a very strong dose of reality from the employees of Colt!

Liberal Gun Hysteria

Yet another reason to homeschool your children.
They are subjected to being brainwashed with anti-gun propaganda and government schools are using tactics like humiliation, coercion, verbal abuse and bullying.

The website "Another Way Of Looking At It" documents many instances of the anti-gun brainwashing that is currently underway in American Government Schools.

They document the stories from kids being punished for shaping PopTarts into a gun to the girl who brought a bubble machine shaped like a gun to school and was suspended.

I wrote about this in my previous post "Hello Kitty The Terrorist" - but it seems the agenda of brainwashing children to equate terrorism with gun ownership is in full swing... they are terrorizing children at a very young age to believe that guns are bad and it is all part of the ideology put forth by Attorney General Eric Holder who said in 1995.
What we are seeing is that any manner of children expressing anything regarding guns is treated as a crime.    They are implementing an educational regime designed to condition out certain behaviors and ideas in the children they teach.

It is pretty frightening.
Zerohedge has a terrific article about this insanity.

But Liberal gun hysteria is not only present in our schools, but it is also alive and well at various "gun violence information events" across the country as low information voters are being fed anti-gun propaganda to help fuel public opinion towards gun control (citizen disarmament) and away from cherishing 2nd amendment rights (as well as others). I might add that criminals are just enjoying this!
These hysterical anti-gun people have never held a gun and wouldn't know an AK-47 from a Bazooka, yet they are now ranting and raving about things they know very little about and being corralled by their handlers to lobby to erode 2nd amendment rights in legislative arenas. Theri ignorance regarding firearms is staggering. They are being fed (pardon the pun) bullet points and being handed professionally made signs as well.  Slogans are also a very useful part of this exercise in propaganda... so are the children in strollers being used as props.

It's interesting and very scary at the same time to see people whipped up in a frenzy and falling into gun hysteria. They want to dictate to the rest of us what kind of firearms we can own and make up the rules for anything having to do with firearms. They know little about guns and even less about history or the reason for the 2nd amendment.

One can readily see how tyrants like Hitler and others can control the minds of a population. Through misinformation, manufactured fear, and  a host of propaganda tools people can be led quite easily, and the result is very "Lord of the Flies-esque" as people become savage bullies who enjoy controlling others. The Salem Witch Trials is yet another example of how fear and misinformation is used to create hysteria.

Make no mistake, the gun control Nazis are out to disarm the public and they are attempting to build a legion of low information voters to help them out.  Government schools are the perfect breeding ground that allows them to employ various tactics to create even more minds that are taught to be closed to any real knowledge about guns or second amendment rights.

Heaven help us... we must end the brainwashing that our tax dollars are funding.
Perhaps you need to attend a local school board meeting and find out more on zero tolerance rules and what they are doing regarding firearms education.

Where Are The Jobs For College Graduates?

Short answer... there are none...
My daughter just graduated college and is currently applying for various jobs in her field.
She is running into a serious issue, and that is this: there are no longer entry level positions to be had!!
Why is this?
Well, most entry level jobs nowadays are being filled as "internships".
It's a wonderful thing for businesses because they can fill their entry level positions with people who don't get paid, but instead work for college credit.  Good for them, bad for anyone looking for a start in their field of study.
Otherwise, entry level jobs are being filled by people who are underemployed, who may have experience in their field but working in a job that pays less for their experience level.
And, if you have worked in an internship as part of your college study, don't count on them hiring you afterwards.  More than likely, they won't want to hear from you again after your stint with them is completed.. and that is after they told you what a wonderful job you did for them.
So with all of these entry level jobs already filled, there really is nothing left for most new college graduates. They are forced then into service and retail jobs which do not utilize the skills learned in their college experience, and do not really give them the hours needed to support living independently AND paying off student loans.

On top of it all, the job application process nowadays is just horrendous.
These unfortunate college grads spend their days job hunting on the Internet, submitting their resume and cover letters to scores of online application websites..or Corporate websites.  They press a button and their resume goes into a black hole.
They may not hear anything back from their application ... ever.
If they are lucky they might get an email response months later.
It's atrocious.

Gone are the days when you would go into a Human Resource Department and talk to a live human being and hand in a resume, or schedule and interview for one of their listed jobs.
Gone are the days when you would have a phone number to call and contact  live person in an HR Department and inquire about job openings.
Most Internet application sites tell you not to call or email after submitting your resume and information.
The person to person aspect of job hunting is completely gone, leaving our young generation with much uncertainty and little encouragement.

If anyone knows anyone in the Music Industry or Entertainment Law  .. let me know  :)
Nashville, TN area is especially welcome.

The Marxists Are Attacking Our Children!

Listen up!

It's a war for your child's mind!

If you cannot homeschool your child then you MUST fight this garbage that is in the school systems across America!
