Economic Collapse IS Coming

This House of Cards will definitely come crashing down...
The question is this:
What will go first - the Euro or the Dollar?
#1 The official U.S. unemployment rate has not been beneath 9 percent since April 2009.

#2 According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are currently 6.3 million vacant homes in the United States that are either for sale or for rent.

#3 It is being projected that the U.S. trade deficit with China could hit 270 billion dollars for the entire year of 2010.

#4 Back in 2000, 7.2 percent of blue collar workers were either unemployed or underemployed. Today that figure is up to 19.5 percent.

#5 The Chinese government has accumulated approximately $2.65 trillion in total foreign exchange reserves. They have drained this wealth from the economies of other nations (such as the United States) and instead of reinvesting all of it they are just sitting on much of it. This is creating tremendous imbalances in the global economy.

#6 Since the year 2000, we have lost 10% of our middle class jobs. In the year 2000 there were approximately 72 million middle class jobs in the United States but today there are only about 65 million middle class jobs.

#7 The United States now employs about the same number of people in manufacturing as it did back in 1940. Considering the fact that we had 132 million people living in this country in 1940 and that we have well over 300 million people living in this country today, that is a very sobering statistic.

#8 According to CoreLogic, U.S. housing prices have now declined for three months in a row.

#9 The average rate on a 30 year fixed rate mortgage soared 11 basis points just this past week. As mortgage rates continue to push higher it is going to make it even more difficult for American families to afford homes.

#10 22.5 percent of all residential mortgages in the United States were in negative equity as of the end of the third quarter of 2010.

#11 The U.S. monetary base has more than doubled since the beginning of the most recent recession.

#12 U.S. Treasury yields have been rising steadily during the 4th quarter of 2010 and recently hit a six-month high.

#13 Incoming governor Jerry Brown is scrambling to find $29 billion more to cut from the California state budget. The following quote from Brown about the desperate condition of California state finances is not going to do much to inspire confidence in California's financial situation around the globe....

"We've been living in fantasy land. It is much worse than I thought. I'm shocked."

#14 24.3 percent of the residents of El Centro, California are currently unemployed.

#15 The average home in Merced, California has declined in value by 63 percent over the past four years.

#16 Detroit Mayor Dave Bing has come up with a new way to save money. He wants to cut 20 percent of Detroit off from essential social services such as road repairs, police patrols, functioning street lights and garbage collection.

#17 The second most dangerous city in the United States - Camden, New Jersey - is about to lay off about half its police in a desperate attempt to save money.

#18 In 2010, 55 percent of Americans between the ages of 60 and 64 were in the labor market. Ten years ago, that number was just 47 percent. More older Americans than ever find that they have to keep working just to survive.

#19 Back in 1998, the United States had 25 percent of the world’s high-tech export market and China had just 10 percent. Ten years later, the United States had less than 15 percent and China's share had soared to 20 percent.

#20 The U.S. government budget deficit increased to a whopping $150.4 billion last month, which represented the biggest November budget deficit on record.

#21 The U.S. government is somehow going to have to roll over existing debt and finance new debt that is equivalent to 27.8 percent of GDP in 2011.

#22 The United States had been the leading consumer of energy on the globe for about 100 years, but this past summer China took over the number one spot.

#23 According to an absolutely stunning new poll, 40 percent of all U.S. doctors plan to bail out of the profession over the next three years.

#24 As 2007 began, there were just over 1 million Americans that had been unemployed for half a year or longer. Today, there are over 6 million Americans that have been unemployed for half a year or longer.

#25 All over the United States, local governments have begun instituting "police response fees". For example, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has come up with a plan under which a fee of $365 would be charged if police are called to respond to an automobile accident where no injuries are involved. If there are injuries as a result of the crash that is going to cost extra.

The government is grabbing more control for its agencies...

and making more people more dependent on government.

1/8 of Americans are on food stamps.

and "Zimbabwe Ben" is just printing more money....

and what was this we heard about "Green Shoots" and the "Fall Recovery"?

Medicating America's Children

You have to hand it to Big Pharma - they have won the war on drugs - They have succeeded in placing 25% of a generation to be on their medications. American children are on everything from anxiety medication, to blood pressure medication.... and they are supposed to be the ones saying "NO" to drugs!

It's absolutely appalling to me - because children are supposed to be full of boundless energy and vigor. They, instead, have been made sick... in more ways than one.

I recall when my then homeschooled daughter went to a New Year's Eve sleepover at her public schooled friends house a few years ago. Every girl there was on medication - except for of course, my daughter. She could not understand why these kids were taking anti-anxiety meds or drugs to help them "cope" with being a teenager. They took drugs to help them sleep, to help them focus, to help them have an appetite, to help them "feel good". And the list goes on. And unfortunately, these medications follow these kids into college and beyond.

The fact that there are lines to the school nurse's office every morning with kids waiting for their doses is pretty scary indeed.

It's quite sad really.
Very sad.
And very alarming for us as a nation.

The truth is that Big Pharma manufactures drugs for manufactured ailments.
It is HUGE money for them.
They have medicalized childhood.

If your child argues with you - they have an "oppositional disorder".
If they are excited or energetic - they need to be calmed down.
If they are picky eaters - they need to have their appetite stimulated.
If they don't get enough exercise - they need diet pills and heart medication.
If they cannot concentrate - they need "speed".

Disease mongering and the medicalization of childhood has indeed lined the pockets of Big Pharma and has insured them a quarter of the next generation.

The number of children on potent psychotropic drugs is quite sobering.
It has contributed to school shootings and rising numbers of suicides.
We see the same pattern creeping into our armed forces.

The reality is that many (not all) parents seem to be all too willing to put their kids on drugs and taking the word of "professionals", instead of doing some honest research and cleaning up their kids' diet, helping them cope with life's problems, shutting off the television, and just allowing them to be kids. And what's worse is that the parents themselves are on similar medications! The vicious cycle is in progress.

Seems to me that this is nothing more than large scale socially accepted child abuse, with some of it funded by big government through Medicaid and other "free" government sponsored medical care. It is enabled by our government education system and the clinics being established in our schools. Poor children and their families are the easiest targets, and some claim that they have been used as Big Pharma's guinea pigs (see below).

In any case, Big Pharma has 25% of a generation in the pipeline and that will help their bottomline a lot after the "boomer generation" is dead.

God help our children and grandchildren.
Who knows how all these medications will affect their ability to create healthy children themselves.

How immigrants, poor people, minorities and children are modern-day guinea pigs for Big Pharma (part one)

Government collusion in human medical experiments no longer just a conspiracy theory

Big Pharma paid $500,000 to Chicago psychiatrists who used children as guinea pigs

Merry Christmas!!

May this Christmas bring you, and your family,
the love and warmth of the season.

Peace to you, one and all.

"I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year." ~ Charles Dickens (A Christmas Carol)

Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as opening our hearts. ~ Janice Maeditere

What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace. ~ Agnes M. Pharo

Happy Festivus!

According to Seinfeld, Festivus is celebrated each year on December 23, but many people celebrate it other times, often in early December. Its slogan is "A Festivus for the rest of us!"

This from Festivus web:

The Festivus celebration as described on Seinfeld includes four major components:

The Festivus Pole: The Costanzas' tradition begins with an aluminum pole, which Frank praises for its "very high strength-to-weight ratio." During Festivus, the unadorned Festivus Pole is displayed. The pole was chosen apparently in opposition to the commercialization of highly decorated Christmas trees, because it is "very low-maintenance," and also because the holiday's patron, Frank Costanza, "find[s] tinsel distracting."

The Airing of Grievances: At the beginning of the Festivus dinner, each participant tells friends and family of all the instances where they disappointed him or her that year. As quoted from Frank Costanza: "I've got a lot of problems with you people, and now you're going to hear about it!"

Festivus dinner: In "The Strike," a celebratory dinner is shown on the evening of Festivus prior to the Feats of Strength. The on-air meal appeared to be meat loaf or spaghetti in a red sauce. In Festivus: The Holiday for the Rest of Us by Allen Salkin, drinking is encouraged with hearty beer, rum, bourbon, or wine. In the episode, no alcohol was served, but George Costanza's boss, Mr. Kruger, drank from a flask.

The Feats of Strength: After the dinner, the head of the family tests his or her strength against one participant of the head's choosing. Festivus is not considered over until the head of the family has been pinned to the ground. A participant is allowed to decline to attempt to pin the head of the family only if they have something better to do instead.

Additionally: Exchanging gifts with your co-workers - When George Constanza was given a gift, he in turn gave his co-worker a card stating that a donation had been made in their name to a charity called The Human Fund and in fact this organization didn't exist...

and finally:

The Wagner Companies, a Milwaukee-based maker of hand-railing components, is still producing its line of Festivus poles for the holiday season. Wagner offers a 6-foot Festivus pole for $39 and a 2-foot-8-inch tabletop model for $31. The setup is simple: a hollow pipe, 1.9 inches in diameter, inserted into a collapsible aluminum base.

There's a Festivus book website

The Chinese Infiltration Of American Education

Headline: Hanban-Asian Society Confucius Classroom Network Gives West Hartford $11,500

It's happening here in my town - maybe even yours.

Connecticut towns like West Hartford, Simsbury, Glastonbury and dozens of other public and private schools around the country are applying for grant money from "Hanban" over a three-year period to support their Chinese language programs.

West Hartford currently has about 230 students taking Mandarin Chinese and employs about 2 full time instructors. We've even sent some kids to Communist China to visit a school in Shandong Province for part of a day. West Hartford's school district wants to grow its Chinese program within 5 years to include the middle schools, and expects that it will seek more grant money from the Communist Chinese government over the next two years to accomplish that. It's no surprise that this is evolving after the former Commissioner of Education, Betty Sternberg, went on a trip to Communist China (Shadong Province) in 2005 to "observe and take notes to add to our states best practices". That seems to be when the push for Chinese involvement with our schools started. West Hartford schools began offering Mandarin Chinese in 2006.

First, our schools offer Mandarin Chinese to their students.
That wouldn't normally be an issue... but now the Communist Chinese government is kicking in grants for cash-strapped school districts to keep programs going... and what that means is that these school districts are also accepting the strings that come attached from the Communist Chinese government.

Here is what they want in return:
Responsibilities of a Confucius Classrooms Program
• Commitment to continuous improvement of the program and willingness to participate in national activities of the Confucius Classrooms Network
• Willingness to participate in the development and promotion of best practices in the field
• Willingness to provide examples of student work, model lessons, and curricula that may be useful resources for others in the field
• Submission of a brief annual report to Asia Society that details (1) program size and growth; (2) professional development offered; (3) outreach to other schools in the region and community activities; (4) plans for the next year; and (5) actual budget and use of funds
Yes, you can bet that these school districts will be very accountable for the grant money and how it is spent. The Communist Chinese government is going to want to make sure that the integration process is being done to their specification. Anyone contemplating that this is merely about language instruction is naive at best. It's about cultural immersion - and it will come with accountability, and it will grow and ask for more stuff. It will come with exchange of students AND instructors, and it will come with specific curriculum.
By accepting the money, town schools also become part of the relatively new Confucius Classroom Network, which is associated with the Chinese government.

They also need to establish formal connections with sister schools in China.

Simsbury, for example, announced in February that it would receive at least $100,000 over the next three years from the Hanban-Asian Society as one of 20 "pioneer" programs in the United States. That money will allow more students to take part in an ongoing exchange program with Simsbury's partner school in Jinan, China, as well as fund a part-time Chinese language instructor at the middle and high school level, administrators have said.

Hanban is affiliated with China's Ministry of Education; the Asia Society is a New York-based group that promotes ties between Asian countries and the U.S. Organizers say their intent is to expand Chinese language programs here and build models for other American schools.
Schools will be expected to continue to offer Mandarin Chinese and to expand it over the long term. In West Hartford, an $11,500 seed grant from the Hanban-Asian Society Confucius Classroom Network will pay for some professional development and classroom materials.

The goal is overall Communist Chinese integration.
Linguistically, culturally, and more.
It's not just about language education.
They have started in our public schools.

Our schools teach Italian and Greek too - but you don't see the Italians or the Greeks giving us grants to do so, or requiring that we set up "sister schools".
Perhaps they would if they weren't "broke".

It's well known how in debt we are to the Chinese.
They pretty much own us.
I suppose we all better start learning Chinese.

FDA To Review Mercury Laden Dental Fillings

Amalgam vs. Composite dental fillings

Open wide and say ahhhhh....

Amalgam is the silver-colored stuff that they fill cavities with. Most baby boomers and their parents have lots of it in their mouths. It's a cheap and longest-lasting dental filling material. Now of course, there are resins that are used which look just like dental enamel. Well, I don't know about you, but I have stopped getting amalgam fillings and go for the resin. I just think it looks better. I haven't gone radical and had all the mercury pulled from my mouth... but some people have.

There's been much debate about the health risks of amalgam dental fillings over the past decade or so. Some argue that the amalgam filling releases mercury vapor that can be absorbed by the body, and they say that high levels of mercury vapor are associated with brain and kidney disorders. Mercury can build up in the body over many years, and may be a link/source of illness. Interesting to note: Amalgam fillings contain approximately 50% mercury, 30% copper, 14% each of tin and silver, and 1% zinc. All five metals in amalgam fillings can be toxic.

Now, I don't think mercury fillings should be banned - but certainly the public deserves the truth if there are any health risks at all - and your decision for treatment should be with informed consent - and be between you and your dentist. (That's MY two cents).

The Washington Post reported:
Prodded by consumer and dental activists, the Food and Drug Administration is reviewing the scientific evidence underlying its pronouncement less than 18 months ago that dental fillings containing mercury do not cause harm to patients.

An advisory panel of outside experts will meet this week to re-examine the basis of the FDA's conclusions in the latest chapter of a lengthy battle with groups that believe the agency is understating possible links between the mercury in dental amalgam and neurological and other health problems.

Apparently, the issue is being reviewed again as a result of questions from citizens' petitions regarding the rigor of the FDA's science.... and we all know how the FDA has made some not so very reliable decisions in the past regarding drugs etc., on the market.
The FDA's current position on mercury fillings came after a lawsuit by anti-amalgam groups that sought to have the substance placed in an FDA classification scheme for medical devices as a first step in restricting and eventually banning its use.

In settling the suit, the FDA in July 2009 classified amalgam as a moderate risk item that released levels of mercury "not high enough to cause harm in patients." The FDA chose not to require warnings about possible harm to young children and women of childbearing age, said Charles Brown, an attorney for Consumers for Dental Choice, one of the groups that sued the FDA and petitioned the agency to look again at the issue....

The advisory committee will not vote on specific recommendations, but it will discuss a series of technical questions about how exposure to mercury is measured, whether safe levels of exposure have been set correctly and the reliability of studies of mercury on humans.

The issue is potentially thorny because if the FDA were to determine that amalgam fillings pose a risk, millions of people would have to decide whether to have them removed and, if so, how to pay for that.

Flouride in the water.
Mercury in your mouth.

How can that really be good for you in the long run?

Related: UK article - British campaigners say mercury is dangerous.
"Norway and Denmark banned mercury from fillings earlier this year while Finland and Japan have severe restrictions."

American History Lesson

I'll bet this isn't taught in government schools anymore.

Great lesson.
Nicely delivered.

The Deliberate Dumbing Down Of America

"Every child in America entering school at the age of five is mentally ill because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our founding fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It's up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well by creating the international child of the future." - Harvard psychiatrist Chester M. Pierce, speaking as an expert in public education at the 1973 International Education Seminar

How is it that the government school system has not yet been charged with child abuse?

If you have a child, and haven't been reading anything by John Taylor Gatto, Charlotte Iserbyt, Bev Eakman, Paolo Lionni, Charles Sykes, Ned Vare, or Sam Blumenfeld (among others) then you should get to a library and start reading.

We desperately need to get Big Pharma out of our schools and make some REAL meaningful education reforms.

"The purpose of education is to teach a student how to live his life – by developing his mind and equipping him to deal with reality. He has to be taught to think, to understand, to integrate, to prove. He has to be taught the essentials of the knowledge discovered in the past – and he has to be equipped to acquire further knowledge by his own effort." ~ Ayn Rand

Lt. Col. Lakin Folds

There must be enormous pressure from on high - on this 17 year Army veteran.
He must be threatened in unbelievable ways to fold as he is doing, and make the obvious pre-scripted and "remorseful" statements that he is now making.

I am of course taking about Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin of Greeley, Colo. who has been attending his court martial hearing this week at Fort Meade. Lt. Col. Lakin is an Army doctor who disobeyed orders to deploy to Afghanistan because he questioned President Barack Obama's eligibility to be Commander in Chief.

Lakin has reversed his previous statements and now told the jury Wednesday that "he was wrong to do so and would now deploy if he could".
He faces up to 3 1/2 years in a military prison and dismissal from the Army after being found guilty of missing a flight that would have gotten him to his eventual deployment and pleading guilty to disobeying orders to meet with a superior and to report to Fort Campbell in Kentucky. He asked the jury to let him remain in the Army when it decides his punishment, and jurors are expected to begin deliberating on his sentence on Thursday.

"I don't want it to end this way," said Lakin, a 17-year veteran of the Army. "I want to continue to serve."

Under questioning by his defense attorney, Neal Puckett, Lakin expressed remorse for disobeying orders. He said he now understands that the Army cannot answer his question about Obama's eligibility to be president and that it was not the appropriate place to raise the issue.

"I was wrong for trying to push this issue within the Army," he said.

So if the Army, which takes orders from the Commander in Chief, cannot validate that Obama (or anyone else for that matter) is not eligible to serve as Commander in Chief - then who can? Do they just blindly follow orders now with out proof that the person sending them into battle to die is not merely an usurper?

It is just unconscionable that a key piece of evidence was disallowed by a military judge. The judge REFUSED to let Lakin present evidence about Obama's birth certificate during the trial!!

Let's see the evidence!

So, Lt. Col. Lakin reversed his course,
saying he would now deploy even with his question unanswered. Puckett asked him why.

"That's my duty. It's what I've trained for. I'm in the Army," he replied.

"Are we done disobeying orders, Lt. Col. Lakin?" his attorney asked him.

"Yes," Lakin replied.

Lakin explained that he tried for two years to figure out to whom in the Army he could raise his questions about Obama's eligibility but that he was not given guidance what he should do. He acknowledged he used his deployment as a way to raise the issue and that he knew when he disobeyed orders that his "career was over."

Also Wednesday the jury heard testimony from two men who had served with Lakin. They described him as a compassionate physician, someone who gave therapeutic massages to soldiers on his own time and who always volunteered to help out. But military prosecutors also put on the stand the doctor that was sent to Afghanistan in Lakin's place as well as his wife, also a doctor with the military. They testified about the last-minute nature of the deployment and how it affected their lives.

Yes, let's make this 17 year veteran out to be some lily livered personnel who is afraid to deploy and makes up excuses. Sorry... I am not buying that - especially given his background. I am also not buying this reversal in Lakin's current statements as being genuinely his.

It is so clear how this is being staged and Obama's eligibility is still being covered up.

All Obama has to do is present a long form birth certificate signed by the doctors that attended the birth. The same one I, and millions of other Americans, have. The same one I have to show when I have to prove my citizenship.
Officials in Hawaii say they have seen and verified Obama's original 1961 birth certificate, which is on record with that state. But birthers have not been satisfied with that assurance or the "Certification of Live Birth" Obama has released. The certification is a digital document that is a record of a person's birth in the state, but the certificate does not list the name of the hospital where Obama's mother gave birth or the physician who delivered him.
To date there is a mountain of evidence that suggests Obama is not "natural born" as required by the Constitution. No Hawaiian hospital has claimed itself to be the birthplace of Barack Obama.
Obama would not be able to get a driver's license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with the personal documentation he has provided to support his eligibility to serve as POTUS -- and would someone explain how anybody can get any job without presenting their scholastic and medical records? - The Obama File

All of Obama's background information has been sealed.

So how many more American soldiers will follow orders (and risk their life and limb) from a Commander in Chief that refuses to unseal his records and prove that he is in fact eligible to serve as Commander in Chief?

It's real simple.
Show the American people the long form birth certificate that the officials from Hawaii claim that they saw (who by the way never said exactly what they saw, just that he has a birth certificate on file).

And what exactly have they threatened Lt. Col. Lakin with, what deal did they make with him, that would make him redact every conviction that he held when he made the very serious decision not to deploy?

One archived news report from 2004 states that Obama was born in Kenya.

Original documents have gone missing.

The American people deserve the truth.

Soldier refuses to Deploy

"Today is the day that Obama creates his first political prisoner. I don't think Obama or his supporters completely understand the ramifications of sending a highly decorated Army officer and flight surgeon to prison because of Obama's refusal to prove his constitutional eligibility. This criminal action perpetrated by Obama will only bring more attention to his constitutional ineligibility. This criminal action perpetrated by Obama will only embolden us "Birthers'" resolve for justice in regards to Obama's ineligibility. The media would like you to believe that Lt. Col. Lakin stands alone in questioning Obama's eligibility to be Commander-in-Chief when in fact that is not the case. The list is quite long and loaded with some pretty high profile people." - Obama Release Your Records

Judge Napolitano - On Beck - On Wikileaks

"When the government does evil in our names and lies about it we should know about it" - Judge Andrew Napolitano

"One of the ways you restrain the government is by exposing it" - Judge Andrew Napolitano

The government cannot, and should not, suppress dissent by silencing the press, or free speech or free thought (etc.), and the government cannot, and should not, suppress the spread of information by interfering in commercial relationships.

You cannot shut down the printing presses by withholding ink.
You cannot shut down TV and Radio shows by coercing sponsors.
You cannot shut down the Internet by regulating it.

Information will be spread one way or another!

We ARE living in perilous times.. and apparently, the way our government has been reacting, it isn't such a far journey to East Germany.

Big Sis, Janet Napolitano, is saying, "If you see something, say something".
Well, I am seeing a government that is becoming way too authoritarian, and straying from its Constitutional principles... and I am saying something.

Obamacare Is Ruled Unconstitutional

Hallelujah! - a Federal Judge that understands Constitutional law! And is not afraid to rule using it!

Challenges to Obamacare legislation have been mounted in Federal Courts in Virginia, Michigan and Florida, where 20 states have joined an effort to have the statute struck down.

In 42 pages, United States District Court Judge Henry Hudson (from the Eastern District of Virginia) issued his ruling regarding the challenge set forth by Virginia's Attorney General, Kenneth Cuccinelli II, to the legislation known as Obamacare. The judge ruled that Section 1501, the provision requiring everyone to purchase insurance or pay a penalty, is unconstitutional.

Thank goodness, as well, for a State AG that actually has a good understanding of the law and also has a spine!

The court held: (see page 38)
"On careful review, this Court must conclude that section 1501 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act - specifically the Minimum Essential Coverage provision - exceeds the Constitutional boundaries of congressional power."
As to the validity of Congress’s power to regulate interstate commerce, the court stated this, on page 21 of the ruling:
Despite the laudable goals of Congress in enacting a comprehensive and transformative health care regime, the legislative process must still operate within Constitutional bounds. Salutatory goals and creative drafting have never been sufficient to offset the absence of enumerated powers.
On page 24 the court held:
Neither the Supreme Court nor any federal court has extended Commerce Clause powers to compel an individual to involuntarily enter the stream of commerce by purchasing a commodity in the private market. In so doing, enactment of the Minimum Essential Coverage Provision exceeds the Commerce Clause powers…
and on Page 37:
At its core, this dispute is not simply about regulating the business of insurance – or crafting a scheme of universal health coverage – it’s about an individual’s right to choose not to participate.

Hudson's court rightfully concluded that:

"Congress lacks the power under the Commerce Clause, or associated Necessary and Proper Clause, to compel and individual to involuntarily engage in a private commercial transaction, as contemplated by the Minimum Essential Coverage provision."

Got that right!

See you at the Supreme Court, and if not there - then in the 112th Congress that will repeal this unconstitutional piece of Socialist trash legislation.

(Now, somebody please tell Joe Biden that the Constitution is a "BFD"!)

The False Right-Left Paradigm

"I believe we have a one party system in this country, called the big-government party. There is a Republican branch that likes war and deficits and assaulting civil liberties. There is a Democratic branch that likes welfare and taxes and assaulting commercial liberties." - Judge Andrew Napolitano

The Right (Republican)/Left (Democrat) paradigm is the illusion that we have a real two party system, and that the parties are fundamentally different. The truth is that the leaders at the top are working toward a common goal which promotes tyranny and globalism. The Right and the Left just have different pathways leading us down that same road. It's plain to see that both the Right and the Left have put us in the very mess that we find ourselves today.

Honestly, haven't we seen this with the Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama/Clinton dynasties? The Right blames the Left - the Left blames the Right - power shifts back and forth and there is gridlock on some items but usually yields more government growth and more regulation. America is polarized and its citizens are fighting amongst themselves. Meanwhile, government and corporations work together to wrest more power and control away from the people.

Do you get it yet?

This is why we must not blindly vote for people based on party, but rather on what the person stands for. What's important is to support those who stand for Restoring the Republic, and upholding the Constitution.

Our support must be for those who will stop making us slaves though entitlements and stop making us slaves through bigger government and higher taxation and/or inflation.

Our support must be to those who will protect our God given rights.

Stop being a "Good Republican".
Stop being a "Good Democrat".
Start being a good American.

Don't fall for the False Right/Left paradigm.

Max Keiser Says, "Buy Silver And Crash J.P. Morgan"

Today is the day Max Keiser wants everyone to buy at least one silver coin to crash J.P. Morgan.
"Morgan’s short position totals a whopping 3.3 BILLION ounces. If, therefore, the buzz about J.P. Morgan and silver is even half true, the prestigious investment bank could be cruisin’ for bruisin’." - Eric Fry

Max Keiser is asking all Americans to buy at LEAST one (1) ounce of PHYSICAL Silver (not ETF's or silver certificates, or mining stocks). You can purchase silver online at places like APMEX or Northwest Territorial Mint or Euro Pacific Metals (and many, many others) - you can even go to a local coin dealer or pawn shop.

The reason for Keiser's viral "Buy Silver" campaign is to crash J.P. Morgan who has allegedly committed silver fraud and broken dozens of federal and state laws in manipulating precious metals while helping the Government prop up the over-valued and nearly worthless U.S. greenback currency.

People want the market manipulation to end.

It should be interesting to see what happens.
It just might be the start of a monetary revolution... and if that's the case, then people better get some physical metals now while they still can.

Remember - Gold and silver are real money. Fiat currency is merely pixie dust.

The Date That Will Live In Infamy

Today is Pearl Harbor day.

Dec. 7, 1941 - 69 years ago - pilots from a Japanese carrier force bombed Pearl Harbor. They killed 2,403 Americans, most of them service personnel, while destroying much of the American fleet and air forces stationed in Hawaii.
The next morning, an outraged United States declared war. That war ended less than four years later, and destroyed most of the Japanese empire and its military, and also brought on the advent of nuclear weaponry.

From Today In History:
At 7:55 a.m. Hawaii time, a Japanese dive bomber bearing the red symbol of the Rising Sun of Japan on its wings appears out of the clouds above the island of Oahu. A swarm of 360 Japanese warplanes followed, descending on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor in a ferocious assault. The surprise attack struck a critical blow against the U.S. Pacific fleet and drew the United States irrevocably into World War II.

The day after Pearl Harbor was bombed, President Roosevelt appeared before a joint session of Congress and declared, "Yesterday, December 7, 1941--a date which will live in infamy--the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan." After a brief and forceful speech, he asked Congress to approve a resolution recognizing the state of war between the United States and Japan. The Senate voted for war against Japan by 82 to 0, and the House of Representatives approved the resolution by a vote of 388 to 1. The sole dissenter was Representative Jeannette Rankin of Montana, a devout pacifist who had also cast a dissenting vote against the U.S. entrance into World War I. Three days later, Germany and Italy declared war against the United States, and the U.S. government responded in kind.
About a year after war was declared, my father joined the army in 1943 when he was 22. His mom was a widower and had wanted him to get exempted from service since he was the oldest of three siblings, but my dad wanted to serve his country. Dad enlisted and went to Camp Davis, NC, in January 1943. My mom was a war-bride. While my dad was home on a furlough, they married on May 23rd 1943. They spent their honeymoon in New York City taking in a Jimmy Dorsey/Cab Calloway show, and two days later dad returned to Frederick Army Air Field, OK. He was subsequently stationed in the South Pacific.

Corporal Leonard Theodore served in the army in the 205th and 102nd Anti Aircraft Artillery Automatic (AAA) Weapons Battalions and in Battalion Headquarters Supply from 1943 to 1946. He served in the Fiji Islands, Finehaven Hallandria, Phillipine Islands, Bougainviile and Cook Island. His unit supplied ammo, food and clothing (etc.) for troops attached to the Americal Division. His unit was also an anti-aircraft unit which supplied protection from enemy aircraft utilizing 50 caliber and 90 millimeter guns. My dad was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, the Victory Medal, and the Phillipine Liberation, American Theatre and Asiatic Pacific Ribbons. He received an honorable discharge on January 6, 1946 after serving for 3 years, with 27 months of that being stationed in the South Pacific.

My dad was one of the fortunate guys who came home to raise a family and serve his community. He was a boy scout leader and he volunteered in many civic organizations. My dad passed away in 1997, and I am proud to say he served his country honorably and bravely, and he was one of the most honest and decent men that I have known in my life. He was truly one of "The Greatest Generation".

Please take a moment today to remember those who fought for freedom and triumphed over the tyranny of their time.

The Coming Of Government Retirement Options

I have been reading articles, like the one at American Thinker about how the Labor and Treasury Department, along with the Obama Administration are planning the Nationalization-Confiscation of IRA's and 401K's. (check this too).

The articles may not be current, but the issue does not seem to be dead.

There was a meeting held on September 14th and 15th, with the Labor and Treasury Departments which outlined the Course of Action and sought input. Videos of the hearing are here.

The agenda is called "Lifetime Income Options for Retirement Plans".

The Federal Government may be moving to control an estimated $3.613 Trillion Dollars in IRA's and $2.350 Trillion Dollars in 401-K's.

It is said that initially, they will offer this as a "choice" - that you can take your equity and have it placed in U.S. Treasury Bonds that will eventually pay out to you an estimated 3% annually. They of course are doing this to "protect Americans' retirement".
...the government intends to convince Americans that the abrupt seizure of trillions of dollars in defined contribution retirement accounts in exchange for token government payments is for their own protection and benefit. (American Thinker)
Powerline said this back in May:
... I think the best we can say is this: the federal government is desperate for cash, and the biggest untapped source of wealth is the hundreds of billions or trillions of dollars that Americans who are now nearing retirement age have saved over their lifetimes. I don't doubt for an instant that the Obama administration would like to get its hands on this money, which would go a long way toward resolving the current government debt crisis. An obvious way of doing so is to take the money now, in exchange for a promise to pay an "annuity" later. The bottom line is that, given what we know about the Obama administration's rapacious appetite for swallowing up private wealth, anyone who has savings should be vigilant.
Another opinion piece is here.

The reason they want access to all these trillions in Americans' retirement accounts is so they can use your money now as collateral for the massive debt they have accumulated, in order to make the United States credit worthy to China and other buyers of our debt.

Back in May, the Republicans did not like this plan.

One of the major clauses which has been discussed, was that upon retirement the value of the your Retirement Account would be placed into Annuities. Once an individual dies, the value of the account will Automatically become property of the Government. The Program will likely be structured much like Social Security Accounts.

Furthermore, the move toward this nationalization of IRA's & 401ks will initially be offered as an "Option". Some critics of this plan have said that those who would be unwilling to accept this Government run Retirement Account plan will likely be stripped of their current IRA/401-K account tax benefits. You would likely be forced to pay taxes on your holdings, which could feasibly wipe out one-third of your wealth!

And how do you think the US Government would convince people to buy into this scheme? How about if they created a financial meltdown that eroded the value of what people have in their current retirement accounts? If you saw your IRA or 401-K drop 50-60% in a matter of days you might want to take a "Conservative Approach" offered to you by the government in the form of "Government-Guaranteed Income".

It is possible that this could be the plan in place for when the Stock Market Drops by 40-60%!

Some say that a Stock Market crash is imminent based on the following indicators:

* Unsustainable U.S. Debt
* Real un-employment continues to rise (9.8% reported by the government... but we all know it is much higher)
* Housing market continues to Drop
* Failing Banking System (2-7 Banks Fail Weekly)
* Lower Quality of Life (SNAP recipients just hit a fresh all time high of 42.9 million)

How reassuring to know that the government is out to "help" all those Baby Boomers by taking their IRA accounts and giving them an IOU. Didn't a guy named Ponzi do something similar?

Happy Hannukah

The Jewish Festival of Hannukah begins at sundown tonight.

Happy Hannukah to those of you who celebrate, and may this season bring you and your loved ones health, happiness, peace and prosperity.

Hannukah is a celebration of the Jewish victory over the Assyrian Greeks. The Greeks persecuted the Jews, the Jews resisted, and we are still here today to talk about it.
The Maccabees

Before his death, Mattityahu called his sons together and urged them to continue to fight in defense of G-d’s Torah. He asked them to follow the counsel of their brother Shimon the Wise. In waging warfare, he said, their leader should be Judah the Strong. Judah was called "Maccabee," a word composed of the initial letters of the four Hebrew words Mi Kamocha Ba’eilim Hashem, "Who is like You, O G-d."

Antiochus sent his General Apolonius to wipe out Yehuda and his followers, the Maccabees. Though greater in number and equipment than their adversaries, the Syrians were defeated by the Maccabees. Antiochus sent out another expedition which also was defeated. He realized that only by sending a powerful army could he hope to defeat Judah and his brave fighting men.

An army consisting of more than 40,000 men swept the land under the leadership of two commanders, Nicanor and Gorgiash. When Judah and his brothers heard of that, they exclaimed: "Let us fight unto death in defense of our souls and our Temple!" The people assembled in Mitzpah, where Samuel, the prophet of old, had offered prayers to G-d. After a series of battles the war was won.

And there is also the story of Miracle of the Hannukah... and why it is the Festival of Lights.
Hannukah Miracle (139 BCE)

On the 25th of Kislev in the year 3622 from creation, the Maccabees liberated the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, after defeating the vastly more numerous and powerful armies of the Syrian-Greek king Antiochus IV, who had tried to forcefully uproot the beliefs and practices of Judaism from the people of Israel. The victorious Jews repaired, cleansed and rededicated the Temple to the service of G-d. But all the Temple's oil had been defiled by the pagan invaders; when the Jews sought to light the Temple's menorah (candelabra), they found only one small cruse of ritually pure olive oil. Miraculously, the one-day supply burned for eight days, until new, pure oil could be obtained. In commemoration, the Sages instituted the 8-day festival of Chanukah, on which lights are kindled nightly to recall and publicize the miracle.

The eight-day festival of Hannukah begins tonight. In commemoration of the miracle of the oil we light the Hannukah lights -- oil lamps or candles -- each evening for eight days, increasing the number of lights each evening.

Tonight, the first night of Hannukah, we kindle one light.

So.. have some latkes (potato pancakes fried in oil) with sour cream or apple sauce, play a game of dreidel, and enjoy!
